Sharon Lechter is a CPA, author, entrepreneur, educator, international speaker, philanthropist, and mom. She is a life-long education advocate and has been a pioneer in developing new technologies to bring education, especially financial literacy, into children’s lives in ways that are innovative, challenging and fun. She graduated with a degree in Accounting from Florida State University with Magna Cum Laude honors and is well known for her best-selling book Rich Dad, Poor Dad as well as being one of the founders of the Rich Dad companies.

Lechter is also co-founder of Cashflow, a financial education game and website for children. She is also the founder and CEO of Pay Your Family First and YOUTHpreneur, companies dedicated to empowering children and families through financial literary education. Lechter serves on the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy and is engaged in several business ventures, curriculum, councils and media opportunities to advance financial literacy across the nation. Lechter’s next book, Think and Grow Rich: Three Feet from Gold, and new board game for teens launches in October 2009.

Inspired by Napoleon Hill’s self-help book on prosperity consciousness, Think and Grow Rich: Three Feet From Gold is a modern day version of Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, which will be released on the original’s 100th anniversary. Three Feet from Gold looks at Hill’s core themes and updates them for the 21st century. Commissioned by the Napoleon Hill Foundation, Lechter’s book contains interviews with modern business leaders who have followed Hill’s advice and provides a practical workbook for finding your own personal path to achievement.
